I began teaching in 1985 as I came to the realization that my goal of becoming a medical doctor would be delayed indefinitely. Walking into the high school classroom, I wasn’t sure what my students expected of me but, I expected dedication and hard work from them. Over thirty years later, I have decided to work toward another goal, to open a business that encourages others to use their gifts to build a community of like-minded learners. I plan to continue my studies in education as I work toward both my goal of a terminal degree and my personal goals. I believe breathing and learning stops simultaneously, therefore, I plan to continue to learn as long as I live.
